Eluru

strikeout.nu Eluru is a city and the district headquarters of West Godavari district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[4] It is one of the 14 municipal corporations in the state and the mandal headquarters of Eluru mandal in Eluru revenue division.[5][6] The city is on the Tammileru river and was the capital of the Northern Circars.[7] As of 2011[update]Census of India, the city had a population of 217,876.[1] The city is well known for its wool-pile carpets and hand woven products.[8]
